This silk mohair yarn is of a high quality, the handmade items made with this yarn look chic and at the same time cosy. The seta silk used for creating this yarn is light and durable, the mohair wool used for this yarn is from Angora goat, Lana Gatto uses mohair fibre mostly originated from South Africa, as it is the most valuable and of the best quality, followed by Lesotho, Argentina, the USA, Australia and Turkey. It’s lightweight like a feather and breathable. Silk Mohair Lana Gatto it is softer than other mohair yarns. It is shedding very little, and looks like new for a very long time.

It looks beautiful even in simple patterns, if you want more insulation for your project you can use needles nr 3 or if you need more air to it you can use needle nr.10 and make it look like a fishermen net. You can easily combine it with a merino or other wool to have a thicker fluffy yarn.
